Welcome to ESQua

Egyptian society for quality in healthcare (ESQua) is a non-governmental non-profit organization working independently in collaboration with all concerned parties according to the Egyptian laws.

ESQua was established in July 1995 registered in 1999 according to Egyptian law

ESQua also registered in July 2004 at ministry of social solidarity which is concerned of social activities of organizations and societies

To become a leading expert in the field of quality healthcare and quality of life.

Mission

The non-profit association works with a scientific framework to advance the quality of healthcare and public health to levels conducive to a better quality of life. This is achieved in cooperation with government partners, civil society partners, and the private sector, both locally and internationally, in line with the latest developments in a changing world. This is achieved through awareness, training, consultations, research, and fieldwork, utilizing the association’s experts and consultants. This is based on standards, policies, procedures, scientific evidence, and practical tools to ensure the satisfaction of all beneficiaries of healthcare services, as well as local and international partners.

1- Participating in the development, review, and evaluation of quality standards, indicators, and improvement in the health sector with relevant local and international stakeholders.

2- Developing policies, procedures, and programs specific to the field of health quality.

3- Providing advisory services in the field of health care quality.

4- Raising community awareness about quality and implementing quality standards in the field of health care.

5- Designing and implementing training programs in the fields of health care and public health.

6- Incorporating modern technologies and the use of all new developments in this field into all activities.

7- Participating in scientific research and presenting development projects based on long-term impact on development.

8- Contributing to environmental conservation projects and achieving sustainable development goals.

9- Holding conferences, discussion panels, and scientific workshops in halls or on media platforms in the field of health quality.

10- Contributing to assisting public, private, and national hospitals working in the field of health care quality, providing them with the necessary technical and financial support and expertise to improve their activities and ensure the provision of high-quality health services.

11- Cooperating with local and international bodies and organizations that Working towards the same purpose and activities.

  1. Participating in monitoring and evaluating the quality of programs and services in the fields of healthcare and public health, including, but not limited to, patient safety, maternal and child care, family planning, health education, proper nutrition, medical convoys, health tourism, elderly care, and others.
  2. Participating in programs to develop the organizational, administrative, and technical capacities of civil society organizations and institutions working in the fields of public health and healthcare services.
  3. Cooperating and partnering with the private and civil sectors in sustainable development activities aimed at improving the health of individuals and society in various sectors and creating job opportunities for young men and women.
  4. Publishing a specialized scientific journal and periodical, as well as printed and electronic brochures in the field of quality.
