The association, in cooperation with the Specialized Union of Health System Development Committees, held seminars to raise awareness of hepatitis C in Menofia Governorate schools.

Fayoum Scientific Quality Day 2018

The Scientific Quality Day was held at the Fayoum Oncology Center. The seminar was attended by 58 participants, including directors of technical departments at the Health Affairs Directorate, assistant directors of health departments at Fayoum centers, hospital directors, quality coordinators, hospital quality team members, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and physical therapists, in addition to businessmen, journalists, media professionals, and Egyptian Radio.

The Role of Civil Society in Achieving Egypt’s Health Strategy 2030

The Egyptian Society for Quality in Healthcare (ESQua) participated in a high-level panel organized in cooperation with the Specific Federation of Health System Development Associations. The event was attended by representatives from the National Alliance, the General Union of NGOs and Foundations, and the Giza Regional Union.
The discussion focused on the critical role that civil society organizations play in supporting Egypt’s Vision 2030 for the healthcare sector, particularly in areas of quality improvement, awareness, and sustainable development.

Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Healthcare Quality

Practical Tools in AI – Medical Tourism – Intensive Home Healthcare

The Egyptian Society for Quality in Healthcare (ESQua) organized a specialized symposium under the title “Artificial Intelligence and Its Role in Supporting Healthcare Quality”, with the participation of experts in both medicine and information technology.
The symposium explored how AI applications can enhance the efficiency of healthcare services, support clinical decision-making, and enable accurate monitoring of health indicators. It also addressed the ethical and professional challenges of integrating technology into the healthcare system.
The event was attended by healthcare providers and academic representatives, and concluded with key recommendations emphasizing the importance of incorporating AI in national strategies to improve the quality of healthcare services in Egypt.

Quality and Safety in Radiology

A distinguished scientific day titled “Quality and Safety in Radiology”
The Egyptian Society for Quality in Healthcare, in coordination with the Egyptian Society for Safety and Quality in Radiology, organized a special scientific day under the theme “Quality and Safety in Radiology.”

The event witnessed the launch of a national initiative to establish a unified regulatory framework and evidence-based practices, aiming to:

Ensure patient safety in radiology.

Develop a referral guideline for imaging requests.

Protect women and children from excessive radiation exposure.

Introduce the Radiation Safety Card to record and track all radiological examinations throughout a patient’s life, enhancing safety, reducing unnecessary repetition, and improving healthcare quality.

The initiative was signed under the patronage of:

Major General Dr. Hany Hafez Lotfy – Chairman of the Egyptian Society for Safety and Quality in Radiology.

Prof. Awatef Ali El-Assi, on behalf of Prof. Hassan El-Kalla – Chairman of the Egyptian Society for Quality in Healthcare.

Health Awareness For Blind Elderly Woman

Quality of Life for Elderly Blind Women

As part of its mission to promote awareness of healthcare quality culture and its impact on quality of life, the Egyptian Society for Quality in Healthcare ESQua, in collaboration with the Community Mental Health Committee of Rotary, took part in an awareness seminar organized at the invitation of the El-Nour & El-Amal Association for Elderly Blind Women in Nasr City, on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.

Seminar Objective
The seminar aimed to raise health awareness among elderly blind women, with a particular focus on:

- Infection control and prevention of communicable diseases
- Prevention of chronic illnesses
- Bone health and fall prevention
- Promoting mental health and quality of life
